The Role: As our Sales Manager, youβll play a crucial role in shaping and executing sales strategy, improving team performance, and converting a high volume of quality enquiries into successful projects. Working closely with the company owner, youβll manage a small sales team, introduce and refine sales processes, and ensure weβre capitalising on every opportunity that comes our way. Key Responsibilities: β’ Sales, β’ Estimate and quote for enquiries across commercial projects, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, and fireplaces., β’ Develop and implement effective sales strategies to manage and convert a large volume of inbound enquiries., β’ Continuously improve sales processes, CRM use, and reporting systems., β’ Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events to increase sales opportunities., β’ Analyse sales performance and create action plans to exceed targets., β’ Understand customer needs and provide personalised solutions, offering expert advice on product selection, and customisation., β’ Growth, β’ Lead, coach, and support a small team including 2 Estimators., β’ Build strong relationships with clients β from homeowners to interior designers and contractors., β’ Collaborate with the companyβs owner to align sales goals with business growth objectives., β’ Be able to generate comprehensive reports and provide clear evidence of progress, including a detailed breakdown by business type, to support accurate forecasting and enable the delivery of end-to-end services. Requirements: β’ Must have experience in the natural stone industry (e.g., marble, granite, quartz worktops, bespoke stone interiors)., β’ Proven track record in sales and sales management, preferably within interiors or high-end design/fit-out sectors., β’ Strong leadership and organisational skills., β’ Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities., β’ Commercially minded with a strategic approach to growth., β’ Comfortable working in a hybrid setup (minimum 2β3 days/week in Margate). Weβre looking for a passionate Head Chef with a flair for creating fresh and vibrant dishes with a Latin twist for a new Cuban tapas restaurant and cocktail bar, launching soon in Margate. As Head Chef, youβll be at the heart of our cafΓ©, designing seasonal menus, managing day-to-day kitchen operations, and inspiring the team to deliver consistently high-quality food. What Youβll Do Β· Lead and manage the kitchen team (currently one sous chef) to deliver outstanding dishes. Β· Create exciting, seasonal menus with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients with a Latin twist. Β· Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. Β· Kitchen management to include food ordering, preparation, and stock control to achieve budget targets. Β· When required, train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff. Β· Ensure compliance with all health and safety and food hygiene regulations. What Weβre Looking For Β· Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a similar environment. Β· Strong organisational skills. Β· A knowledge of creating fresh, enticing food with a Latin twist. Β· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Β· Oversee that the team conforms to health and hygiene regulations. Β· Must have at least a Level 3 Food and Hygiene Certificate.
