Salary: £26,000£28,000 per annum (depending on experience) Key Responsibilities • Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to solicitors and fee earners., • Preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents, correspondence, and reports., • Audio and copy typing with a high degree of accuracy., • Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, meetings, and court dates., • Handling incoming telephone calls, emails, and client enquiries professionally., • Opening, maintaining, and closing client files in accordance with firm procedures., • Liaising with clients, barristers, courts, and third parties., • Filing documents electronically and maintaining accurate records., • Assisting with document production, bundles, and legal forms., • Managing incoming and outgoing post., • Supporting billing processes, including preparing invoices and processing expenses where required., • Ensuring compliance with confidentiality, GDPR, and the firm's policies and procedures., • Undertaking any other administrative duties as required to support the department.Essential Skills and Experience, • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Secretary within a professional services environment., • Excellent typing and document formatting skills., • Strong organisational and time management abilities., • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy., • Professional and courteous communication skills, both written and verbal., • Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams., • A proactive, flexible, and positive approach to work., • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Desirable, • Experience using legal case management systems., • Knowledge of legal procedures and terminology., • Experience supporting one or more legal practice areas.What We Offer, • Competitive salary of £26,000£28,000, depending on experience., • Monday to Friday working hours of 9:00am5:00pm., • A supportive and collaborative working environment., • Opportunities for professional development and career progression., • Company pension scheme., • Paid annual leave plus bank holidays., • Ongoing training and development.
