An exciting opportunity for a PA to join an expanding Lawfirm in Southampton. To communicate professionally and effectively with clients, Court, Barristers, agents & third parties, and other staff particularly on the telephone. Roles and Responsibilities To include: • Dealing with confidential and sensitive information with the utmost respect and integrity as well as ensuring security, • Must have experience with Audio typing, • Making up files and drafting client care letters and terms of business, ensuring compliance with SRA codes as well as CQS,, • Completing legal administrative tasks with minimal supervision, • Familiarity with conveyancing terminology, Land Registry Portal, SDLT online, search providers and mapping, indemnity insurance providers, etc, • Familiarity with Litigation would be preferred, • Closing and archiving files., • Assisting with photocopying, filing, shredding, archiving and other administrative tasks requested The Candidate: The ideal candidate: • Experienced with Audio typing., • Some experience working in a law firm or a legal background is preferred., • Someone who is willing to learn on the job and advance their skill set., • Good computer skills and excellent attention to detail are required., • Good manner with clients, particularly on the telephone., • Presents themselves in a professional manner and looks appropriately attired at all times
