Our popularity has also led to us expanding our operations to a larger location in Angel and we’re looking for Front of House Team Members who can provide exceptional and welcoming service with a smile and create an overall enjoyable experience to our guests whilst thriving on their satisfaction. As an employer, we offer: Very reasonable shift patterns Wednesday - Friday 4pm-11pm, Saturday 1pm - 11pm and Sunday 12pm-7pm. Food on duty Staff discounts. £30k Per Annum, contracted 38 hours per week. You must have at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role. You must have a good understanding and knowledge of classic cocktails and spirits, have a positive work ethic, and a passion for hospitality. Job responsibilities Prepare and bake a range of savoury confectionery items, ensuring high quality and consistency. Follow traditional and modern recipes to create items such as lamb samosas, chicken tikka rolls, vegan sausage rolls, pakoras, and pastries. Mix, knead, and roll dough to produce various baked goods, including pasties and singaras. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently to minimise waste. Monitor cooking and baking processes to maintain quality and meet food safety standards in accordance with the food standard agency: safer food, better business. Develop and test new recipes to expand the menu and cater to customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring hygiene and food safety regulations are followed. Requirements: Strong skills in pastry making, dough preparation, and baking. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
Full-Time Production Head Chef We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team full-time. This role involves crafting a variety of high-quality desserts and managing a successful team of baker and chefs. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities: • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to oversee and manage the entire kitchen operations. • Create and execute a wide range of dishes according to established recipes and culinary standards. • Maintain high levels of cleanliness and adhere to strict health and safety regulations within the kitchen. • Lead and manage a team of 10 employees (or more), providing guidance and training to maintain a productive and harmonious work environment. • Handle all aspects of kitchen management, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing stock levels to ensure freshness and availability of ingredients. • Monitor stock rotation and implement a systematic process for tracking inventory to minimise waste. • Innovate and experiment with new recipes and techniques to introduce unique and creative offerings to our customers. • Ensure consistency and quality in all products across our four locations. • Oversee the preparation of ingredients and use of cooking and kitchen equipment effectively and efficiently. • Monitor the performance and progress of team members, offering support and constructive feedback as needed. Requirements: • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef, including experience managing a team of 10 or more. • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations. • Proficient in health and safety standards, as well as food preparation and nutrition. • Experience with inventory management and control, including stock ordering and rotation. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high quality standards. • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and leadership skills. • Knowledge in Gluten free/vegan recipes Application Process: Candidates will undergo a three-stage assessment process, including a trial shift, an in-person interview, and reference checks.
