Contract Opportunity: SME Microsoft Fabric Engineer - End-to-End Delivery We're supporting a major organisation on a high-impact project that requires an experienced Microsoft Fabric Engineer who has delivered Fabric solutions end-to-end, from Lakehouse pipelines to Silver/Gold medallion models and Power BI - ready datasets. If you've worked extensively across Fabric's engineering stack and can hit the ground running, this one's for you. Location: Remote (UK) Day Rate: Negotiable Contract: Short-term engagement with potential extension You'll need production experience with: • Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse (Delta tables), • Synapse Data Engineering (Spark notebooks), • Synapse Data Warehouse (SQL), • Fabric Data Factory pipelines, • Building Silver/Gold (Medallion) data models, • Strong SQL + Python (ideally PySpark inside Fabric), • Transforming GA4 BigQuery export data, • Ingesting external APIs/SaaS sources (ideally Contentful or similar), • Preparing Power BI-ready data models (fact/dim schemas) Strongly Preferred: • Familiarity with Azure data services (ADF, ADLS, Azure SQL), • Experience joining web analytics with CMS/CRM data, • Understanding of data governance + PII handling in analytics platforms Nice to Have: • dbt (Core or Cloud), • Experience with modern lakehouse stacks (Databricks, Snowflake), • Background in nonprofit/charity analytics (not essential) If you've delivered Microsoft Fabric projects end-to-end and can build clean, scalable data platforms using GA4 and CMS data, I'd love to hear from you.
