Role Overview: We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Early Years practitioner (Level 3 or above) to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about childcare and enjoys creating meaningful, play-based experiences for children. As a Dog Carer & Driver, you’ll be an essential part of the Tiny’s team, ensuring every dog’s day runs smoothly from home to club and back again. You’ll safely transport dogs, support them through their daily routines of walks, rest, and play, and contribute to the calm, structured atmosphere that defines our daycare. You’ll also use our online system to complete daily service reports for clients, sharing thoughtful updates that reflect each dog’s experience and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities: • Safely collect and drop off dogs from their homes, ensuring a calm and positive transition., • Walk, supervise, and engage dogs throughout the day, following our structured daycare schedule., • Observe behaviour and wellbeing, communicating clearly with the team about any changes or needs., • Complete daily service reports through our online system, keeping clients informed and reassured., • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organisation within the daycare and vehicle., • Build trusting relationships with dogs and their owners through consistency and care.     Social Enterprise Coordinator 16 hours per week, Thu-Fri Fixed Term (until October 2 2026) £14,668 per year (£34,379 full time equivalent) Location: Bromley High Street Market Square & Training Centre/Lodge Purpose of the Job: You will coordinate Bromley Mencap’s emerging Social Enterprise pilot, a market‑stall‑based microenterprise cluster (coffee, plants, bikes) designed to create meaningful, structured work experience for adults with learning disabilities, difficulties and neurodiverse conditions. Working two days per week on site, you will lead the full operational cycle: vehicle loading, transport, market setup, supervision of trainee shifts, customer service, cash‑up, and safe pack‑down. You will ensure the pilot delivers high‑quality, person‑centred work experience aligned with the project model, while generating strong social value, generating sales and ancillary service enquiries. You will act as the on-site co-ordinator, job coach and operational lead, ensuring the stall runs safely, efficiently and in line with Bromley Mencap’s values. Main Duties: • Lead full operational day (09:00 - 17:00) including loading, transport, setup, trading, pack down and return., • Set up microenterprise stations (coffee, plants, bikes) and ensure all equipment is safe and functional., • Manage EPOS terminal, float, stock levels and daily consumables. - Conduct safety checks (marquee stability, temperature logs, equipment checks)., • Ensure branding, signage and customer facing materials are displayed professionally., • Supervise 2-4 disabled trainees per day across rotating AM & PM shifts., • Provide structured, confidence‑building coaching in customer service, task rotation, microenterprise skills and workplace behaviours., • Deliver clear briefings at the start of each shift and support smooth changeovers., • Promote independence while ensuring safety, dignity and person‑centred practice. We work around our clients needs and we offer a top-quality and reliable service. Dog walking is a fun and incredible job.
