Accounts trainee required for a part-time position in Kingsbury Accountant’s office to start immediately. Hours are flexible. Some book-keeping experience preferred, but not essential as training will be given. Has to be computer literate.

We are looking for a candidate who will be responsible for the following tasks: • Bookkeeping using VT Transaction+ and QuickBooks, • Preparation of Year-End Accounts and CT600 Corporation Tax Returns, • Preparation and submission of Self-Assessment Tax Returns, • Payroll processing and monthly CIS returns, • VAT returns, • VAT registration, PAYE scheme registration, CIS registration, and company formations, • General administrative duties Requirements: • Experience with Moneysoft payroll manager, VT Transaction+ and QuickBooks, • Strong knowledge of UK tax and accounting procedures, • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, • Good organisational and communication skills
