Role and Experience Level An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE to join the firm’s Real Estate team in a role focused primarily on leasehold enfranchisement. Based in Canterbury, with hybrid working offered post-settlement, this role would suit a technically capable lawyer with specific expertise in long leasehold work and a wider commercial property background. Team and Culture The Real Estate team is Partner-led, collaborative, and known for its close mentoring culture. Key Responsibilities You’ll work across a varied caseload of commercial and residential property matters, with particular focus on: • Leasehold enfranchisement, • Lease extensions, • Freehold acquisitions and disposals, • Service and maintenance charge disputes Required Skills & Experience • 3+ years’ PQE (guideline), • Strong technical knowledge of long leasehold matters, including experience with County Court and Property Tribunal processes, • Sound commercial property knowledge, • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, • A collaborative approach and eagerness to specialise further Impact of the Role This is a key strategic hire. The incoming solicitor will play a pivotal role in strengthening the firm’s already reputable enfranchisement practice, while shaping the future direction of this niche specialism within the team.
