Job Title: Design Manager – Construction/Architectural/Modular Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 + WFH + Bonus + Private Healthcare White Label are proud to be working with leading construction business who have the reputation of delivering quality product to their clients in their search for a Design Manager due to growth of business. You will work in a fast-paced environment, and you will get to see and experience everything from concept to completion. The Role: • Manage the design process from inception to completion, including producing design proposals, managing the tender process, and overseeing the construction phase, • Liaise with other teams within the company to ensure the design process is integrated with other aspects of the project, • Provide technical advice and guidance to the design team, • Develop and maintain effective project documentation, including project plans, risk assessments, and design briefs, • Manage project budgets and ensure financial targets are met, • Ensure all design work is completed to a high standard, within agreed timescales and budgets, • Develop and implement design policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement of the design function The Person: • Min HNC in Construction or Architectural or similar, • Experience working as a - Design Manager, Design Coordinator or Architect - in an Architectural Practice or Modular Building business, • Must have current or prior experience in hands on design of Modular Buildings or similar using AutoCAD or Revit, • Good understanding of Building Regulations is a MUST, • Strong Project Management skills, • Excellent organisational and time management skills, • Strong verbal and written communication skill, • Proven ability to review and improve processes and procedures, looking for innovative and creative solutions Salary & Benefits: • £50,000 - £70,000 (Dependent On Experience), • 37.5 working week:, • Monday – Thursday – 8 am – 5pm, • Friday – 8 am – 2pm, • 1 Day WFH per week/4 days WFH per month, • Bonus (Up-to 30%), • Private Medical, • Electrical Car Company Scheme, • 25 days holiday + bank holidays, • Opportunity to work for a business where they have very high retention of staff and are one of the best when it comes to support and progression
