Hit Apply below to send your application for consideration Ensure that your CV is up to date, and that you have read the job specs first. • To provide effective leadership and management to support the team to deliver high-quality care to our young people, • Are able to manage the resources of the home and to provide a positive therapeutic and educational living experience for the resident children and young people, • To ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and procedures, • To communicate effectively with a multiagency team including social workers, placing authorities and the Company Directors, • To review company policies and procedures other associated documentation, • To undertake an in-depth quality and bespoke training package, • To attend/chair staff meetings and be proactive in developing and improving the service model, • To act as an advocate for the young person whilst using a positive parenting model, • To work with young people using positive support strategies including de-escalation tools and techniques using in-house training, • To provide support and supervision to the Deputy Manager in completing day-to-day tasks, • To have a clear understanding of our therapeutic ethos, • To have exceptional communication skills, • To have sound working knowledge of current legislation e.g. Children's Homes Regulations 2015 (including quality standards), • To provide support and positive role modelling to the staff team (including completing supervision), • To be open-minded, empathetic in a calm and professional manner, • Must have a full manual driving licence, • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management or equivalent, • To successfully complete Ofsted registration as a Registered Manager, • To participate in further continuing professional development and support the needs of our young people, • To have a clear passion and desire to support children and young people, • Casual dress, • Company pension, • Free food, • Free parking, • On-site parking, • Casual dress, • Company events, • Company pension, • Discounted or free food, • Free parking, • On-site parking, • 8 hour shift, • Driving Licence (required)
