What you'll be doing Oversee that all orders are picked to meet time targets Communicate with our riders to ensure our customers receive our deliveries promptly Run the dispatch area and and support with packing delivery orders to send to our customers Ensure all deliveries are scanned and appropriate claims are logged Unload deliveries according to procedure, taking time to ensure accuracy of product locations and date rotation Ensure stock counts are accurate and all areas counted Partner with our Warehouse Assistant Manager and Warehouse Manager to ensure the site runs smoothly Manage the warehouse remains clean and tidy at all time and that any hazards have been dealt with urgently Complete H&S checks and ensure that the warehouse and employees are diligently following company procedures throughout their shift Requirements Previous experience in a similar environment is valued but not required (FMCG/Retail/Warehouse/Last mile delivery is a big plus) Hands-on mentality and detailed oriented Experience hitting goal targets (e.g. pick times) A track record of attendance and punctuality Demonstrated leadership and experience training other team members Contribute to a positive working environment Right to work in the UK What you'll receive £13.20 hourly salary Guaranteed 30 hours minimum per week Weekly payroll Permanent position Lots of growth opportunities and on site training. Delivering and collecting parcels in one of our own vans, you will be delivering on a self-employed courier basis with our support and guidance. We will provide and pay for the van, and all the insurance necessary, 06:30/07:30 start until tasks complete (approximately between 14:00 - 18:00). Monday to Sunday, with a two days off a week, but can work if you wished on your days off. You will be required to work either one of the days on the weekend Paid per delivery and collection. You will deliver and collect from approximately 90 - 160 destinations per day. Route automatically sorted into an economical delivery sequence. Uniform to be worn. Training in our system and procedures provided. You’ll enjoy plenty of variety in an active and customer facing role. You’ll become a member of a supportive team that works together to create an unbeatable service. Specifically this will involve, Loading, unloading, and operating your own van. Locating and driving to various addresses - Sat Nav provided. Delivering parcels on time You will need: A valid UK driving licence. Held for 1 years And a maximum of 6 points on your licence Be over the age of 21 Be able to Present yourself in a calm and professional manner to customers and members of the public.
