Estimator - Facades \n Job Title: Estimator - Facades \n Job Reference Number: \n Industry Sector: Estimator, Estimates, Estimating, Facades, Cladding, Flat Roofing, Rainscreen, Built Up, Composite Roof, Composite Wall, Brick Slip, SFS, Steel Framing Systems, Main Contractors, Sub Contractors \n Location: Basildon \n Remuneration: £55,000 - £65,000 + bonus \n Benefits: Pension, 25 days annual leave \n The role of the Estimator - Facades will involve: \n\n • Estimator position dealing with various architectural external finishes inclusive of but not limited to GRC, brickslips, terracotta, renders, aluminium and HPL cladding.\n, • Reviewing tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements\n, • Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required\n, • Liaise with suppliers and manufactures to obtain competitive prices\n, • Carrying out site surveys as and when required\n, • Producing formal quotations to clients\n, • Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database\n, • Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors\n, • Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met\n, • Estimating for projects from £500k - £25m\n\n The ideal applicant will be an Estimator - Facades with: \n\n • Must have estimating experience within the cladding / façade / building envelope industry\n, • Strong understanding of rainscreen and curtain walling is highly advantageous\n, • Understanding of Onscreen Takeoff software package\n, • Must be an outgoing character who will be an integral part of the team\n, • High levels of organisation and excellent time management\n, • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal\n, • Excellent analytical and numerical skills\n, • Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness\n\n Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Jobs, Construction Vacancies and Specification Positions within: Estimator, Estimates, Estimating, Facades, Cladding, Flat Roofing, Rainscreen, Built Up, Composite Roof, Composite Wall, Brick Slip, SFS, Steel Framing Systems, Main Contractors, Sub Contractors
