Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 per annum, DOE Contract: Full time, Permanent We are a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice, who are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Senior to join their friendly and professional team. The Role As an Accounts Senior, you will work on a varied portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for accounts preparation and supporting more junior members of the team. You will act as a key point of contact for clients and work closely with Managers and Partners on assignments. As our Accounts Senior you will be responsible for: • Preparation, review, and submission of accounts, • Supporting the Manager and taking a lead role on assignments, • Supervising, mentoring, and supporting junior team members, • Communicating effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels, • Handling client queries in a professional and timely manner, • Working collaboratively with Managers, Partners, and the wider team To be successful in this role, you will have experience gained within a UK accountancy practice and be confident managing your own workload while supporting others. xrnqpay You will ideally have: • ACA / ACCA / AAT part-qualified or qualified (qualified by experience also considered), • 3-4 years' experience within a UK accountancy practice, • Strong experience in accounts preparation and relevant accounting software, • Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior staff, • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, • Confident written and verbal communication skills, • A well-organised and reliable approach with the ability to meet deadlines, • Varied and interesting client portfolio, • Supportive and professional working environment, • Opportunity to further develop technical and supervisory skills Apply today to find out more.
