Job Description Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour Job description: Location Requirement (Must Meet One or More): ✔ Queens (Jamaica 11429, Far Rockaway 11691) ✔ Long Island (Plainview 11803 , Coram 11727, West Babylon 11704) ✔ Westchester ✔ Brooklyn (11212, 11217, 11223, 11230, 11235) ✔ Mandarin/Cantonese Candidates located in Southern Brooklyn/Chinatown (11204, 11219, 11220, 11228, 11229, 11230 and 10038) ✔ Home-Based ABA only Availability Required (Non-Negotiable): ✔ 12–25 hours per week ✔ Monday–Friday after-school hours (3/4 PM–7/8 PM), Weekends Optional/Open ✔ Passionate about working with children and committed to consistency Role Overview As a Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician at Strive High ABA, you will provide in-home and community-based ABA services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will play a vital role in helping children build essential life skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and reach meaningful goals through structured, compassionate intervention. Key Responsibilities • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs, • Provide direct 1:1 support to children in home and community settings, • Collect accurate behavioral data and complete daily session notes, • Support skill development, behavior reduction, and social engagement, • Follow behavior plans, crisis protocols, and clinical guidance, • Maintain positive, professional relationships with clients and families, • Attend all scheduled sessions and follow attendance policies, • Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training, • Comply with BACB ethical standards, HIPAA, and company policies, • Experience working with children and/or individuals with developmental or behavioral needs (preferred), • Strong communication, observational, and interpersonal skills, • High level of reliability, professionalism, and accountability, • Willingness to receive feedback and grow professionally, • High School Diploma or equivalent required, • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations, • Reliable mobile device for in-session data collection, • Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance or reliable access to public transportation, • Ability to sit for periods of up to 2-4 hours, • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, • Ability to kneel, squat, crawl, stand, and move for extended periods, • Competitive hourly pay, • Consistent after-school scheduling, • Ongoing training and BCBA supervision, • Supportive, collaborative team culture, • Career growth toward RBT and BCBA pathways, • Meaningful work that creates lasting impact, • Paid Time Off & Sick Hours Job Type: Part-time Benefits: • Flexible schedule, • Paid time off, • Professional development assistance, • Referral program Application Question(s): • What does your availability look like Monday to Friday and/or Weekends?, • Which boroughs/areas are you willing to work in?, • Have you completed the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician Course?, • What zip code do you reside in?
