

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Crew Member to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing food items efficiently, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food industry, including food preparation, cashiering, and sanitation practices. Prior restaurant or retail experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
Duties
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cashiering, and sales transactions.
Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer needs promptly.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with sanitation and food safety standards.
Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting kitchen operations as needed.
Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and hygiene.
Support team members during busy periods by multitasking efficiently in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting.
Skills
Experience or familiarity with food preparation techniques and food industry standards.
Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, Toast POS for cashiering and sales processing.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and quick calculations during transactions.
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of sanitation practices related to food handling and kitchen cleanliness.
Experience working in a restaurant, café, grocery store, or retail environment is a plus.
Ability to work well within a team while demonstrating flexibility and adaptability during shifts.
