Duties Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately following established recipes and safety standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders, handle cash transactions, and manage sales efficiently Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations Assist with food safety practices including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy for guests Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times Qualifications NYC Food handlers certificate is required. Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha or Micros is a plus; training will be provided if needed Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us to be part of a lively team that thrives on energy, teamwork, and delivering memorable guest experiences.
