We’re expanding our network of skilled on-call technicians to meet growing demand for in-person support — including computers, networks, printers, and more. About the Role We’re hiring field IT technicians who can confidently support a wide range of tech needs for residential and small business customers. This includes troubleshooting PCs and Macs, resolving network issues, and repairing or configuring printers/scanners — including issues like Canon MF printer network setup or G-series ink absorber error codes (e.g., 1700). You’ll be dispatched to customer sites, work independently, and complete service calls efficiently and professionally. Key Responsibilities • Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues on Windows and macOS systems, • Resolve boot errors, OS issues, and login problems, • Set up or troubleshoot Wi-Fi and wired internet connections, • Replace or upgrade hardware (HDD, RAM, cooling fans, etc.), • Configure or connect printers and scanners (Canon, HP, Brother, etc.), • Address common printer error codes (e.g., ink absorber, paper feed, connectivity), • Perform general maintenance on multifunction printers (MFPs), • Reinstall operating systems using bootable USBs or recovery media, • Install remote tools or shortcuts as requested, • Communicate clearly with customers and provide basic post-service support, • 2+ years of field IT support experience, including computer and printer work, • Familiarity with Canon, HP, and other common printer brands, • Knowledge of error code troubleshooting (e.g., Canon code 1700, boot issues, driver conflicts), • Experience with both Windows (10/11) and macOS troubleshooting, • Must have personal tools (bootable USB, screwdriver set, etc.), • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license, • Smartphone with camera and data for documentation and communication Compensation • $40–$45 per hour for on-site time, • Flexible scheduling — accept only the jobs that match your route and availability, • National brand recognition and continuous job offers, • Dispatch and tech support team available to assist remotely ✅ What to Expect After You Apply • ????
