Job Description Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer in Niskayuna, NY. Candidate must have an active DOE L clearance or DOD equivalent to be considered. The Naval Nuclear Laboratory develops advanced naval nuclear propulsion technology for the safety and reliability of our Navy's submarine and aircraft fleet. Our company is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team as part of the Propulsion Plant Team Trainer (PPTT) project, which is a multi-site organization engaged in the design, production, testing, and delivery of advanced training simulators. The successful candidate will: - Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers across multiple locations - Review and disposition Supplier mechanical design submittals to validate designs based on technical requirements - Interface with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are satisfied - Review static structural analyses of designs Requirements • Canidate must have an active DOE L clearance or DOD equivalent to be considered., • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
