PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): • Perform the required troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair as needed of Falcon Aircraft anywhere in the world depending on their AOG location. To include locations at various points across the Americas and the globe which could include remote areas where modern conveniences may not always be available., • Perform all stated maintenance or basic avionics tasks and associated checks, inspections and/or troubleshooting as identified on the assigned AOG or drop-in aircraft., • Identify all troubleshooting tasks and maintenance tasks to be performed and parts to be ordered for a particular AOG., • Perform status updates of work in progress to Command Center and/or Operations Manager., • Perform all work with the highest level of technical knowledge and experience, in addition to maintaining the utmost level of professionalism with customers, vendors and other flight department or customer personnel on both a personal level and also as a direct representative of the company, Dassault Falcon Jet., • Adhere to all FAA Regulations, the Dassault Repair Station Manual, Operations Manual and all other Quality Manuals and/or Regulations., • Accurately and thoroughly complete all appropriate maintenance, work order, and RTS paperwork, • Be "travel ready" within 1/2 hour during duty time and 2 hours when standby time off base., • Work unscheduled overtime as-needed based on level of AOG activity to include weekends and/or holidays. Apply Now Enlisted None What to Expect Machinist's Mate Nuclear More Information Responsibilities Nuclear Machinist's Mates operate and maintain steam turbines and reduction gears used for nuclear ship propulsion and auxiliary machinery such as turbogenerators, pumps and oil purifiers. They also maintain auxiliary machinery outside of main machinery spaces, such as electrohydraulic steering engines and elevators, refrigeration plants, air conditioning systems and desalinization plants. They may also operate and maintain compressed gas producing plants. Nuclear-trained MMs perform duties in nuclear propulsion plants operating reactor control, propulsion and power generation systems. Work Environment As a Machinist's Mate Nuclear, you'll have the opportunity to work at sea or ashore. Training & Advancement Upon completion of initial training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, (known as Boot Camp), those pursuing a Machinist's Mate Nuclear role report to "A" School in Charleston, SC, for six months. Here, they develop a working knowledge of technical mathematics and power distribution. Students learn to solve basic equations using phasors, vector notations and basic trigonometry and analyze DC and AC circuits. They also learn how to operate electrical equipment using controllers, and how to properly test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical circuits, motors and other related electrical equipment. From there, MMNs move on to Naval Nuclear Power School (NNPS), also in Charleston, SC. Here they learn theory and practical application of nuclear physics and reactor engineering. The six-month course provides a comprehensive understanding of a pressurized-water Naval nuclear power plant, including reactor core nuclear principles, heat transfer and fluid systems, plant chemistry and materials, mechanical and electrical systems, and radiological control. Following NNPS, MMNs begin prototype training in their rating specialty at one of two Nuclear Power Training Units (NPTUs) - located in Charleston, SC, and Ballston Spa, NY. This six-month course teaches the fundamentals of a Naval nuclear power plant and the interrelationship of its mechanical, electrical, and reactor subsystems. Students develop oral communications skills, obtain an understanding of nuclear radiation, and gain knowledge of the safe operation of a complex Naval nuclear power plant. Job Summary: Under direction of the Manager, Digital Transformation, the Digital System Support Analyst will be responsible developing solutions for our Customer Service IT group as well as providing customer support for both internal and external customer digital products and services. The Digital System Support Analyst is a service-oriented, critical thinking individual who is passionate about reacting to customer feedback and providing actionable information to ensure IT and Customer Service are fully integrated on a continuous basis to increase business capability and value, reduce cost and risk, and foster innovation. Principal Duties: DIGITAL PRODUCTS SUPPORT • Track, prioritize and process incoming customer requests for service access and support, • Identify, record, analyze and provide solutions to problems and incidents based on documented known errors, • Work with internal and external project teams to aid in the design, development, deployment and post-delivery support of customer service digital products and services, • Works closely with IT to ensure that during major service disruptions that affect our digital products, services to ensure the impact to users is minimized, • Lead the efforts in the build, test and release of new or upgraded digital services and business systems, • Ensure there is a proper knowledge transfer to enable customers and users to optimize use of services that support their business activities, • Leads testing efforts for new systems and improvements, • Ensure that new or changed services and systems are capable of delivering the agreed utility and scope, • Communicates actionable items and required changes to IT development teams, • Works with Customer Service personnel to identify and understand product enhancement requests, • Manages organization’s expectations effectively, • Responsible for introducing new initiatives to end users, • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions, • Leads internal teams/task forces Bachelor’s degree in information technology or 3 years related work experience 2+ years of analyzing data to identify trends and manage data quality 2+ years of experience supporting customer-facing portals, or digital services in aerospace or regulated environment Prior involvement in digital product support or lifecycle management Working knowledge with Microsoft Power Apps (Power Automate, Power BI or CoPilot Studio) Must possess a strong sense of urgency and have the ability to independently manage development projects and customer support tasks simultaneously Highly self-motivated and independent Excellent communication / customer service skills Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, Outlook, Permissions, User Support) Ability to troubleshoot across multiple platforms and coordinate with internal IT teams when needed Additional Desired Qualifications: Understanding of basic aircraft systems and technical publications Proficiency with Power Automate and SharePoint Development Working knowledge of SAP (User level familiarity and navigation) Proficient with SAP and able to provide support/problem solving Experience with programming (Java / Python...etc.) Fluent in French Working Conditions: Office environment Use of personal computers required Minimal travel may be required Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position typically falls between $70,000 and $75,000 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
