Overview: We are looking to fulfill our need for an AutoCAD Drafter at our Teterboro facility. Though not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have previous experience drafting window and/or door systems. This person will support the production of shop drawings, fabrication details, and installation diagrams for aluminum window and door systems. The AutoCAD Drafter must possess exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills while being results-driven with exceptional computer skills. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): • Able to produce basic plans, elevations, sections, and detail views under supervision., • Accountable for generating drawings according to the requirements provided by the senior designer, engineers, and/or client., • Able to create both 2D and 3D drawings., • Assist in preparing fabrication and installation details for standard window and door assemblies., • Responsible for incorporating changes or modifications according to the suggestions of the senior designer and/or client., • Apply NAS drafting templates, layer conventions, and title block standards., • Learn to read window/door schedules and basic structural sheets., • Identify missing information or unclear conditions and ask clarifying questions., • Liaison between the design team and engineers to gain insight into the project., • Responsible for supporting engineering with minor drawing adjustments for fabrication and assist in preparing simplified field diagrams or as-built documentation when required., • Certificate or diploma in Drafting, CAD Technology, Architectural Technology or related field, • 2-4 years of experience as an AutoCAD Drafter., • Experience with window/door systems, curtainwall, storefront, or metal fabrication is preferred but not mandatory, • Must be proficient with AutoCAD (model space/paper space, viewports, blocks, XREF basics), • A familiarity with Bluebeam or PDF markup tools, • Exposure to Revit or 3D modeling tools, • Must have a basic understanding of architectural and shop drawings, • Strong attention to detail, • Fluent in MS Office Full-time position Salary Rate Range: $52,000 - $62,000 (commensurate with experience) Medical, Dental and Vision benefits offered 401(k) PTO (Paid Time Off) Employee Training

Provide machine beam, pit, and buffer reactions., • Review submittals (mark ups) by architects, consultants, elevator contractors, and our engineering staff and revise layout drawings accordingly., • Cooperate with significant interfaces such as: Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Architects, Installation Experts, Field Project Managers, Office Management., • Effectively communicate and work with coworkers and outside teams to complete projects with proper code compliancy., • Ability to comprehend architectural and structural building drawings., • Attention to detail, design, completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Your Experience • 3+ Years of experience in Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor. Revit experience a plus., • Direct elevator industry experience is a plus., • Degree in Mechanical Engineering is desirable but not required., • A portfolio containing school and / or work projects you have completed., • Strong Multi-tasking and Organizational skills., • Effective verbal and written communication skills., • Ability to work effectively, proactively, and independently as well as a team-based environment., • Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities., • Ability to work well in a team environment under tight deadlines., • Attention to detail, design, completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
