About the position Ember Health is seeking a thoughtful, detail-oriented Marketing & Community Associate to help us tell our story, grow our patient community, and support the digital presence of an industry leading healthcare organization. This role is ideal for an organized, tech savvy, digital media professional who is excited about the intersection of healthcare, storytelling, and community building. You'll work closely with Ember's leadership team to manage our digital channels, support patient engagement initiatives, and help shape how our work is shared with patients, clinicians, and the broader public. This role blends content creation, community engagement, digital marketing, and media support, and will play an important role in helping Ember expand access to safe, effective, compassionate mental health care. Responsibilities • Shape and steward Ember's digital presence, ensuring a cohesive, high-quality expression of our voice across all channels., • Create thoughtful, resonant content - from patient stories to editorial and campaign materials - that brings our work to life with clarity and care., • Evolve and maintain Ember's website as a trusted, living resource for patients, providers, and the broader community., • Lead social media with intention, developing content, managing channels, and engaging audiences in a way that feels authentic and aligned., • Cultivate a vibrant patient community, elevating stories, fostering connection, and creating meaningful opportunities for engagement., • Design and execute email communications that inform, support, and deepen relationships with patients and partners., • Support the creation of meaningful events and experiences, both in-person and digital, that reflect Ember's values and bring people together., • You have an aesthetic sensibility. You have a refined eye for beauty and detail, and you understand how thoughtful, well-crafted elements come together to create meaningful, distinctive experiences and compelling stories., • You are an excellent communicator. You display excellent judgement in how to engage patients and partners with sensitivity and respect.Experience, • 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, digital media, or community management, • Excellent writing and editing skills, • Experience in curation and design, whether through events or community management, in-person and/or virtually, • Comfort managing multiple digital platforms and tools such as Mailchimp, social media platforms, Canva, CMS tools, CapCut, etc, • Marketing metrics collection, report generation, and analysis, • Proven record of managing multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously, in an effective, resource-efficient way This role offers the opportunity to help shape how Ember shares its mission with the world, amplifying patient voices, strengthening community, and expanding access to compassionate, paradigm-shifting mental health care. Compensation Package and Benefits The compensation range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000, commensurate with experience, expertise, internal equity, and other business considerations. All full-time employees are eligible for healthcare benefits (including vision and dental), 18 days of paid vacation (with tenure-based annual increases), 7 paid holidays, dedicated sick time, and additional benefits to support personal wellbeing. This is a full-time opportunity based out of our headquarters in Brooklyn Heights, NYC, with travel within the NYC area as needed, and the opportunity for a flexible, hybrid workplace model.
