Job Description Florida Technical College Nursing Program is seeking a highly motivated and qualified LPN Program Manager (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our team. This individual will be responsible for administration, developing, delivering, and evaluating courses across the practical nursing curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment for students, and contributing to the ongoing continuous improvement of the program. Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program. All degrees must be from institutions accredited by regional or national accrediting bodies approved by the U.S. Department of Education. Foreign transcripts may be acceptable in some cases and require a translation and evaluation of equivalency to U.S. degrees by a recognized agency., • Active and unrestricted RN license in the State of Florida., • Minimum of three years of recent experience in clinical nursing practice., • Minimum of two years of teaching experience., • Proficiency in computer usage is crucial for managing course documents and educational resources within the learning management system., • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include days, nights, and weekends as needed to meet population requirements and business needs., • For best consideration, upload your credentials along with your resume. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Ensure the LPN program meets all Florida Board of Nursing requirements for curriculum, faculty qualifications, and student outcomes., • Prepare and submit required reports to the FBON, including annual program reports and documentation for site visits., • Maintain program approval status and readiness for audits or evaluations., • Monitor and analyze student performance metrics, including NCLEX-PN pass rates, retention, and job placement., • Develop and implement strategies to support student achievement and licensure success., • Track and report program outcomes to the FBON and accrediting bodies., • Conduct regular program evaluations and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives., • Maintain accurate and secure records of student progress, faculty credentials, and clinical site agreements., • Implement a structured system for evaluating teaching effectiveness, including student evaluations, peer reviews, and classroom observations., • Support faculty in meeting FBON-required qualifications and continuing education., • Facilitate faculty development workshops and performance improvement plans., • Develop and deliver engaging and effective instruction in assigned nursing courses, ensuring alignment with program curriculum, learning outcomes, and best practices., • Utilize diverse teaching methodologies including lectures, case studies, simulations, group discussions, and other innovative techniques., • Facilitate clinical learning experiences, providing ongoing mentorship and guidance to students in developing essential clinical skills and judgment., • Participate in program development activities, including curriculum review, assessment development, and policy development., • Stay current with evolving trends in nursing practice, healthcare, and nursing education through ongoing professional development activities.
