They also manage seating charts, respond to guest inquiries and phone calls, and assists fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships. Responsibilities: • Greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude., • Manage the seating chart and efficiently seat guests while balancing guest preferences and server sections., • Provide accurate wait times and ensure guests are comfortable during their wait., • Answer phone calls, take reservations, and manage the guest list., • Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand and entryway., • Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and managers to ensure a seamless guest experience., • Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., • A friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for customer service., • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a busy environment., • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail., • Prior experience as a host/hostess or in a customer-facing role is preferred but not required.
