Job DescriptionJob Description The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for designing, coding and testing emails that nurture customer relationships throughout their journey with our brand Balsam Hill US. This includes building campaigns and multi-touch flows with proper logic, flawless rendering, and advanced personalization based on user behavior and lifecycle stage. This position reports to the CRM Marketing Manager and is based in our Boise office location. This role is expected to work in a hybrid model, which currently includes Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in-office. What you’ll do: • Design and build responsive email campaigns using drag-and-drop email builders and visual template editors optimized for Optimove, • Develop, modify and organize email templates and existing campaigns, including editable modules so templates can be reused, • Test compatibility and proper rendering across different email clients and devices, and perform A/B testing to optimize campaign performance, • Develop rule-based email templates that integrate personalized dynamic content elements, automate workflows and configure link tracking, • Implement customer segmentation strategies and manage email streams and sequences that engage customers at different stages of their journey, • Work with marketing teams, designers, and other stakeholders in multiple time zones to execute email strategies that will drive engagement for the right audience and align with channel best practices, • Apply best practices in email development, email compliance regulations especially CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and accessibility, • Ability to diagnose and resolve email deliverability issues including spam filtering, reputation management, and authentication protocols, • Bachelor’s degree in related field; and/or 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably with an eCommerce brand, • 3+ years of experience with various email marketing and/or CDP platforms, like Optimove, Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud., • Fluent in HTML and CSS, • Demonstrate commitment to accuracy and thoroughness, • Experience with A/B testing to optimize email performance and conversion, • Understanding of email client compatibility, responsive design, and cross-platform rendering challenges, • Knowledge of email subscriber list best practices for both GDPR and CAN-SPAM laws, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that bridge technical and non-technical audiences, • Experience using Figma is a plus, • Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp or JIRA is a plus The company's mission is to create joy together.
