The Retail Support Specialist supports the execution of retail and merchandising strategies across Franklin Building Supply locations. This role focuses on pricing execution, vendor coordination, product setup, store resets, and retail program implementation to enhance contractor experience, merchandising consistency, and overall store performance. Duties and Responsibilities: Orgill Program Support • Execute Orgill pricing updates, receiving processes, and product changes., • Serve as a point of contact for Orgill-related operational and merchandising questions., • Assist with monthly Buyers Meetings, including agenda preparation, vendor coordination, and follow-up., • Support bulk retail purchasing initiatives and store-level product allocation., • Coordinate signage and fixture needs, ensuring proper ordering, delivery, and installation., • Maintain consistency of pricing signage, product labeling, and promotional materials across locations., • Support vendor communication and participate in regular vendor meetings to ensure program alignment., • Assist in setting up and maintaining retail vendor programs, tracking commitments and execution., • Assist with store and yard resets, including product placement, fixtures, and signage., • Help plan and execute power tool sales, Tool of the Month, and other retail promotions., • Support store managers and yard supervisors with merchandising and retail program questions., • Translate retail strategy and purchasing decisions into clear, actionable instructions for stores., • Collect, document, and share field feedback with buyers and leadership. Required: • 1–3 years of experience in building supply, lumber yard operations, retail support, or merchandising., • Familiarity with wholesale distribution programs (e.g., Orgill)., • Hands-on experience in building supply or lumber yard operations., • Experience with store resets, fixture coordination, or retail merchandising programs., • Experience with Epicor and/or BisTrack systems., • Comfort working with vendors, buyers, and store leadership.
