General Responsibilities • Store and properly handle raw or prepared foods and non-food supplies., • Wash dishes and pots., • Operate dishwashing equipment., • Distribute and store clean pots, dishes, and utensils., • Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures., • Empty trash containers as required., • Maintain assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition., • Handle food in a manner that is consistent with local health department guidelines., • Follow proper food handling techniques and coordinate the use of time, material, and equipment to avoid waste and unnecessary expense., • Follow safety regulations, and report injuries or unsafe conditions and work practices to the supervisor., • Put freight away and keep all kitchen areas (dry storage racks, walk-in, freezer) organized. Requirements: Job Qualifications Experience/ Knowledge: • Professional communication skills are required., • Regular, predictable, and dependable attendance., • Ability to work in a team environment., • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure ADA Information Physical Requirements: • Ability to speak and hear, • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus., • Constant standing with some walking, • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)., • Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 50 pounds., • Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills
