Its also great for someone who isnt ready to be responsible for bookkeeping and running their own business. All supplies will be provided by the salon and stylist will be eligible to have company matching in the retirement plan. Plus the benefit of getting new customers to build up their business. This position can transition to the chair rental position whenever they feel ready to make the switch to self employment. Apply today! The Chair Rental position The rental position is for the successful stylist who has a clientele but wants to build to a full book. In this position, the stylist provides all of their own supplies, pays rent for the chair and takes responsibility for all aspects of running their own business. Use of the online booking system is available and access to new customers is provided through the system. If youre ready to be your own boss, this is a great opportunity to start your business with low fixed cost of $250 per week and the opportunity to ultimately own the entire salon. Stylist Responsibilities • Maintain a friendly, professional approach and provide exceptional service to all customer., • Rental fees are due on the 1st of the month in advance, • Maintain all necessary record keeping.Qualifications, • Active NYS license for hairstying or barbering is required, • Proven experience as a stylist, hairdresser, or similar role is preferred, • Curly hair experience is a big plus, • In-depth knowledge of hair cutting techniques and best practices, • Skilled at hair coloring, straightening, and curling techniques, • Familiar with a variety of treatment products, • Up-to-date with trends in fashion and beautyChair Rentals, • We have 3 chairs available to rent at $250 per week., • 2 Chairs are located in a back private room together and the room can be rented for $400 per week total, • We have a private room available to rent for masseuse or facials for $200 per week50-50 Commission, • Alternative to chair rentals we off a competitive 50-50 Commission to stylists. this is a W-2 positionAdditional income
