Role Description Amare Wear is seeking a passionate and experienced Store Manager to lead our Soho location. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving sales, delivering exceptional customer experiences, overseeing daily store operations, and developing a high-performing team. The ideal candidate is a natural leader who thrives in a boutique retail environment, loves working with people, and is excited to help grow a luxury jewelry brand. Weekend availability is required. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and motivate the store team to achieve sales and customer experience goals. Recruit, train, and onboard new team members while maintaining consistent service standards and product knowledge. Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture. Manage scheduling, shift coverage, performance reviews, and ongoing team development. Sales & Customer Experience Drive store sales and exceed performance goals. Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable in-store experiences. Educate customers about permanent jewelry, gemstones, charms, and the stories behind our collections. Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently. Lead by example on the sales floor and support the team during peak business hours. Operations & Inventory Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the boutique is clean, organized, and aligned with the Amare Wear brand. Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts, receiving, restocking, and loss prevention. Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Permanent Jewelry Perform permanent jewelry welding with precision and confidence. Maintain the highest quality standards for all permanent jewelry services. Assist customers with welding services and customizations. Laser engraving experience is preferred. Qualifications 3+ years of retail management experience. Proven experience managing a team of 2 or more employees. Experience in jewelry, luxury retail, or boutique retail preferred. Permanent jewelry welding experience required. Strong sales ability with a proven record of meeting or exceeding goals. Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills. Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. Outstanding communication and leadership skills. Positive, professional, and collaborative attitude. Passion for mentoring and developing team members. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Degree or certification in Jewelry Design, Business, Fashion, or a related field is a plus. The Role The Fire Life Safety Director (FSD) is a critical on-site safety role at the Return Policy™ Broadway Hotel. The FSD is responsible for the life safety of all guests, staff, and visitors in the building, ensuring full compliance with New York City Fire Department (FDNY) regulations, the NYC Fire Code, and all applicable building safety standards. This is a standalone, full-time position requiring a valid FDNY Fire Safety Director Certificate of Fitness. The FSD operates with a high degree of independence and is expected to act decisively in emergency situations while maintaining a calm, professional presence at all times. What You’ll Do You are the designated safety authority on property during your shift. You'll be required to - • Hold active FDNY Fire Safety Director (FSD) or Fire Life Safety Director (FLSD) certifications required at time of hire, no exceptions., • Serve as designated Fire Safety Director on all assigned shifts per NYC Local Law and FDNY requirements, • Oversee the fire command station and maintain all required logs, • Lead emergency response with calm authority when needed, • Hold a current First Aid certification (we can provide this if needed) What You Bring • FDNY Certificate of Fitness — Fire Safety Director (S-95) · Must be valid and current, • FDNY Certificate of Fitness — Fire Safety & EAP Director for Assembly Occupancies (S-56), if applicable, • CPR / First Aid Certification — current, • Additional FDNY Certificates of Fitness considered an asset (F-89, W-96, G-60) Why You’ll Love It Here This is a place where your personality is an asset, your creativity is welcomed, and your growth is taken seriously.
