This position will run through September 30, 2026, and is located in our Ithaca office which serves Tompkins and Tioga county. The Temporary Staff housing paralegal will provide services in matters relating to eviction, which may include client intake,advocacy to obtain/maintain public benefits, litigation support, and outreach in courts, shelters and other locations. Staff paralegals at LawNY provide comprehensive legal services to eligible clients and the ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of how civil legal issues affecting communities with low-income intersect with social and economic justice. Staff paralegals play a critical role in realizing LawNYs vision ofa society where access to justice is not determined by ones social or economic status.
