    The Kitchen Prep Person is responsible for preparing ingredients and proteins for daily kitchen operations. This role helps keep the kitchen organized, stocked, and ready for service by handling cleaning, cutting, seasoning, portioning, and basic food prep tasks according to company standards. Key Responsibilities: • Clean, wash, trim, and prepare meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables, • Cut, portion, and season meats for daily service, • Clean and prepare fish, shrimp, salmon, snapper, and other seafood items, • Prep vegetables including cabbage, peppers, onions, carrots, and other produce, • Prepare ingredients for menu items and daily specials, • Assist with marinating, seasoning, and organizing proteins for cooking, • Cook and prepare pasta or other assigned pre-cooked items as needed, • Label, date, and store all prepared food items properly, • Maintain a clean and sanitary prep station at all times, • Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation standards, • Keep prep area stocked, organized, and ready for the line cooks and chefs, • Notify management when inventory or prep items are running low, • Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries when needed, • Arrive on time and ready to work, • Complete all prep assigned for the day efficiently and correctly, • Maintain consistency in cuts, portions, and seasoning, • Keep work area clean throughout the shift, • Work with urgency while still maintaining quality, • Follow instructions and communicate clearly with the kitchen team, • Previous kitchen prep experience preferred, • Ability to handle raw meat, seafood, and produce safely, • Ability to stand for long periods and lift kitchen supplies/products, • Good knife skills and attention to detail, • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented, • Dependable, • Hardworking, • Clean and organized, • Fast but careful, • Willing to learn, • Team player
