This is an opportunity to step into that environment early in your career and contribute meaningfully. Your Mission This role exists at the intersection of business and technology. Every team at CORE has ideas for how to work better—automations, tools, reports, systems—but not always the technical context or bandwidth to bring them to life. That’s where you come in. You’ll act as a technical partner to the business: understanding problems, designing solutions, and helping implement them. Sometimes that means configuring software. Sometimes it means sitting with a team, asking the right questions, and turning their workflow into something more efficient. If you know how to write code, even better. You’re not expected to know everything. You are expected to figure things out. What You’ll Be Doing Serve as a subject matter expert (SME), sounding board, and solution partner for teams across the business, helping less-technical stakeholders use technology to accomplish their goals Work on real business problems from start to finish: gathering requirements, proposing solutions, and helping implement them Design and implement technical solutions across software, systems, and occasionally hardware Support and administer enterprise platforms such as ERP systems, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and others Build lightweight tools, scripts, automations, or small applications to improve workflows and eliminate manual work Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners (MSPs, consultants, vendors) to move projects forward Assist with procurement, setup, and maintenance of company technology (computers, networking, office equipment, etc.) Observe how teams operate, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements backed by clear reasoning A Day in the Life You might start your day helping a team troubleshoot an issue in a system they rely on, translating what they’re experiencing into something actionable. Later, you’re working on an automation—maybe a script or workflow—that eliminates a repetitive manual task. In the afternoon, you sit with a stakeholder to understand a problem they’re trying to solve. You ask questions, map out the process, and sketch a solution that combines tools, systems, and a bit of creativity. Every day is different. The common thread is solving problems that matter to the business. Who You Are • You’re interested in both technology and business outcomes, not just one or the other, • You’re naturally curious and like figuring out how things work, • You enjoy solving problems, especially when the solution has a real-world impact, • You’re comfortable being a beginner—but not staying stuck there, • You can break down complex ideas and explain them clearly to others, • You take ownership of your work and follow through, • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, • Experience with coding, scripting, or automation (Python, JavaScript, etc.), • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar), • Exposure to business systems (ERP, CRM, BI tools, etc.), • Experience using AI tools in practical or creative ways, • Hands-on experience working on real business problems, • Exposure to a wide range of technology domains: software, data, systems, infrastructure, and more, • Experience working cross-functionally with teams across the company, • A strong foundation in how businesses actually operate, and how technology supports them, • This is an on-site role based in Clemson, SC., • Summer: full-time (40 hours/week) Working With Us We started 2026 with around 30 people and we've been adding new team members every month since.
