Experience in pediatric/adolescent/ reproductive health care is preferred., • At least 2 years of acute care hospital experience is preferred., • At least 2 years of experience reviewing charts for the purpose of quality improvement or utilization review is preferred., • Knowledge of current disease/care management/coordination trends is preferred, • Technical Skills:, • Must have the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, and to prioritize reviews and projects to be completed., • Must have strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to gather and analyze information from records, reports, and other sources., • Must be proficient in the use of standard office technology and basic Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Teams., • Must have the ability to travel to on-site review assignments within the metropolitan area (including Westchester and Long Island). Approximately 25 on-site days per year. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct clinical reviews of medical records from a variety of sources as well as other documents crucial to the reviews, as appropriate., • Conduct interviews, observations, and reviews of other program documentation as part of comprehensive program monitoring., • Develop and draft reports in the form(s) required by the Department., • Track status of documents and reviews in databases and other shared platforms., • Provide technical assistance to program personnel, where appropriate., • Utilize data management tools appropriately to record monitoring findings.
