Job DescriptionPosition Summary: Under the direction of the Player Development Manager, the incumbent handles all informational inquiries, TVG withdrawals/deposits, Sportsbook withdrawals/deposits and overall management of the Players Club desk while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Incumbent handles all VIP player requests, assisting the Player Development Manager when needed. Assist Mutuels Manager with simulcasting/program files when needed. Essential Duties And Responsibilities: • Responsible for signing up new members to our players rewards program, • Assist guests with all service related issues with the players rewards program; i.e. lost cards, damaged cards, • Assist guest with learning how to use our self-service wagering terminals, • Serve as liaison between the Players Club Department and all other departments that service the guest, • Respond to all guest inquiries, • Handle TVG withdrawals/deposits and ensure balancing at end of shift, • Handle Points Bet Window withdrawals/deposits and ensure balancing at end of shift, • Secure assistance from Security to manage guests’ issues, especially regarding safety concerns, • Secure assistance from Tote vendor to manage guests’ issues, especially concerning wagering issues arising from ineffective betting apparatus; i.e. self-service machines ticket jams, machines out of paper, etc., • Assist Marketing with nightly promotions including t-shirt toss, Horseplay, drawings, competitions and events., • Disseminates hand-held betting machines to guests upon request, • Process Cash Advance/Check cashing, • Is well informed on all activities and promotions Education And/Or Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree from a four year college preferred Gaming License Required Special Qualifications: • Must possess effective communication and organizational skills., • Must be an independent, decision-maker and problem solver, with the ability to handle multiple tasks with ease., • Must have tolerance for loud noise., • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and the Internet Language Skills: Ability to read and understand financial reports, policy and procedure manuals, and technical instructions. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints. Ability to speak effectively before groups of Guest or Associates of the organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as factions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to read player ratings. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables. Must have a high level of independent problem solving.
