Job Description About ShipFlow ShipFlow is a tech-enabled third-party logistics (3PL) based in New Brunswick, NJ. We run high-volume e-commerce fulfillment, retail replenishment, and value-added services for a growing roster of DTC and omnichannel brands. Our warehouse floor moves fast — tens of thousands of orders processed daily — and we hold ourselves to a high standard on accuracy, speed, and client experience. We're not a massive corporate 3PL. We're a tight, capable team that takes ownership and solves problems. This role reports directly to the CEO. The Role We're looking for a Senior Operations Manager who can own the entire operation — floor to client. You'll lead the team, protect our SLAs, manage carrier and vendor relationships, and serve as the operational point of contact for our client base. Just as important: you'll be building the systems and processes that scale with us. We need someone who's detail-oriented, analytically sharp, forward-thinking, and ready to grow with a fast-moving company. What You'll Own • Full operational ownership across all shifts: receiving, putaway, pick/pack, shipping, and returns, • Leadership and development of warehouse team leads and associates (20–50+ headcount), • KPI management: order accuracy, dock-to-stock time, cycle times, SLA compliance, • Inventory control: cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, stock integrity, • Capacity and headcount planning — forecasting labor and operational needs as we scale, • Inbound/outbound scheduling and carrier/vendor relationship management, • Client-facing operational communication — you're the point of contact when clients need answers, • WMS adherence and process enforcement (we run Logiwa), • Build, document, and continuously improve SOPs — processes that scale, not workarounds that stick, • Identify operational gaps before they become problems and bring solutions to leadership proactively, • Cost and labor efficiency awareness — you understand the margin impact of operational decisions, • Client onboarding, new account launches, and VAS project execution, • Safety compliance — clean, organized, OSHA-compliant at all times, • 5+ years of operations management experience in a 3PL or high-volume e-commerce environment, • Deep understanding of logistics and supply chain operations end-to-end — from inbound planning to last-mile handoff, • Experience managing multi-client or multi-account fulfillment operations, • Detail-oriented to the core — you catch what others miss and you care about getting it right, • Analytical thinker — you use data to diagnose problems, measure improvements, and make decisions, • Comfortable pulling apart operational data to find the root cause, not just the symptom, • Forward-thinking mindset — you're not just running today's operation, you're building tomorrow's, • Proven ability to create and implement processes from scratch, not just follow existing ones, • Proven experience leading teams of 20–50+ people, including team leads and supervisors, • Hands-on leadership style — you're on the floor, not just behind a desk, • WMS proficiency (Logiwa experience is a real plus), • Strong communicator — with your team, with clients, and with leadership, • Awareness of operational costs and labor efficiency as they relate to margin, • Bilingual English/Spanish a plusCompany DescriptionBased in the vibrant state of New Jersey, ShipFlow is a leading 3PL (third-party logistics) provider dedicated to empowering brands with tailored solutions to optimize their operations.
