A significant portion of your pilot crew consists of sharp, ambitious young aviators (primarily ages 22–26). Your mission is to mold them into elite professional pilots, teach them what it means to be phenomenal employees, and provide an accessible, transparent, and motivating leadership presence every single day. Key Responsibilities: Pilot Mentorship & Leadership: Provide direct supervision, guidance, and daily support to 95 regional flight crewmembers. Address performance and operational issues with a constructive, coaching mindset. Operational Oversight: Work hand-in-hand with the Chief Pilot and company executives to support day-to-day flight operations, facilitate clear communication between crews and dispatch, and ensure tight operational control. Training & Checking: Conduct pilot evaluations, base-level standardization, ground/flight training, and recurrent proficiency checks as needed. Compliance & Administration: Maintain absolute regulatory compliance with FAA Part 135 requirements, company General Operations Manuals (GOM), and safety cultures. Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new talent to the base. Qualifications & Requirements We are hunting for a magnetic, high-integrity aviator who works exceptionally well with people and commands the respect of a hangar floor. Mandatory Criteria: Proven Leadership Background: Previous experience serving explicitly as an Assistant Chief Pilot, Base Lead, or Chief Pilot managing an aviation operation of at least 10+ pilots is mandatory. Part 135 Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of previous direct Part 135 operational experience as a pilot/ leader. Certifications & Medical: Must hold an FAA Commercial or ATP certificate with appropriate ratings, along with a valid FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate (required for line and training flights). Personality Profile: Must be highly charismatic, relatable, and genuinely passionate about mentoring young, early-career pilots. The Swim Instructor will report to the Head Swim Instructor and will be responsible for providing all Members and guests with a safe, welcoming and educational lesson environment. This will be accomplished through conducting swim lessons in accordance with all safety and Club standards, conducting skills evaluations, and assuring all safety and Club policies are taught and enforced at the pool area. WHAT YOU’LL DO The Swim Instructor must complete all tasks and assignments assigned by the Head Swim Instructor, including but not limited to: • Conduct swim lessons in accordance with all safety and Club standards, • Ensure a safe and professional learning environment throughout lessons for all Members and guests, • Conduct swimming and certification skills evaluations, • Communicate and enforce pool rules and policies, • Maintain a high level of visibility, ensuring availability to respond to Member and guest inquiries, • Submit weekly member billing to Head Swim Instructor WHAT YOU'LL NEED • Current and valid Lifeguarding certifications preferred, • Current and valid First Aid and CPR certifications preferred, • Previous experience with Nationally recognized swim program, • Must be 17 years of age or older, • One year prior experience in a Swim Instructor role strongly preferred, • Knowledge and use of aquatics equipment, • Must maintain a friendly and encouraging attitude both during and outside of lessons, • Must be comfortable working with children of different ages and skill levels in a professional manner., • Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members, management team, Members and guests, • Ability to respond to Members in a timely fashion, • Work schedule to include, afternoons, early evenings, weekends, and potentially holidays, • Must present professional appearance and attitude at all times, maintaining a high level of member service, • Must adhere to all WCC guidelines, policies and procedures, • Must be able to work on site at Main Club location in Rye, NY, • Working primarily in and around the Main Club’s indoor pool environment and all related designated Aquatics areas, with exposure to chlorine and other pool chemicals.
