Summary: The Resident Service Designee supports the Resident Service Director in the administration of the nursing services. In conjunction with the Resident Service Director, the Resident Service Designee directs, plans, and coordinates services activities of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel in rendering resident care. Interprets policy and regulations to all nursing personnel and ensures compliance. Analyzes and evaluates nursing and related services rendered to ensure quality of resident care. The Resident Service Designee in concert with the Resident Service Director assumes responsibility for providing oversight of the resident health care service’s needs, including the overall medication delivery system and the coordination of in-service training for the Resident Care Services Department. The Resident Service Designee contributes directly and positively to the team approach to quality resident care by attending to and assisting with a variety of physical, emotional and social needs to help residents maintain their highest level of independence possible. Essential Functions: • Ensure clinical services are delivered in accordance with state regulations, accepted clinical standards, and community policies and procedures, • Assist in coordinating and managing nursing and personal care services for residents, • Provide nursing services, wellness counseling, health promotion, and disease prevention support, • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility, • Oversee and verify resident medication regimens in collaboration with physicians and healthcare providers, • Conduct resident assessments, participate in pre-move-in evaluations, and assist with service plan development and reviews, • Coordinate resident care with families, physicians, and outside healthcare agencies as needed, • Lead and participate in Service Plan Reviews with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members, • Maintain knowledge of assisted living and memory care regulations to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance, • Monitor infection control, immunization compliance, and infectious disease management practices, • Conduct routine audits of resident care systems, documentation, delegation practices, and quality assurance tools, • Support move-in, transition, and discharge processes for residents, • Assist with staff orientation, ongoing education, training, and competency development, • Supervise and support resident care associates in the delivery of quality care and services, • Review resident care documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely communication, • Provide delegation in accordance with state regulations and community policies, • Assist with resident care staffing coordination and scheduling, • Serve as an after-hours/on-call resource for resident care needs, including onsite response when necessary, • Provide regular updates and reports to community leadership regarding resident care services and concerns, • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse, licensed to practice in the state., • Experience in Assisted Living, Home Health, Skilled Nursing and/or retirement center., • Experience and passion in working with seniors., • Experience in supervisory role and able to lead., • Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending and lifting up to 60lbs., • Innovative Culture: We are a group of smart, forward-thinking and compassionate pros dedicated to enhancing the lives of our residents through service excellence, creative and meaningful programs and continuous innovation., • HEART: We recognize Humor, Empathy, Autonomy, Respect and Trust as core values that guide our work., • Growth Opportunities: We promote and foster career development and continuous learning., • Work-Life Balance: We value autonomy, flexibility and a family-friendly supportive workplace., • Competitive Comp and Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package, bonus, health insurance, 401K with match, paid time off, and more.
