Job Description Job Overview of Case Worker The case manager is responsible for the coordination of case management services for children (and their families) that attend the Orchard School. The case manager is primarily responsible for the case management of children who are here through DSS contracts, but will also serve children in the residential program and day program who are not connected with DSS. He or she must demonstrate strong knowledge regarding case management services, must work effectively with families, and work collaboratively with the clinical social workers and other team members. The case manager maintains relationships with outside agencies through phone contact and/or face-to-face meetings and is able to represent Andrus at meetings.
