MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS Education: Graduate of a Registered Nursing program, Bachelor's in Nursing Degree (BSN) preferred. Experience: Must have 2+ years of nursing experience. Supports appropriate positioning, assessment and management of pain and provides emergency resuscitation care to the neonate and antepartum population., 5. Completes appropriate documentation. Maintains accurate and timely entries and notations in patient care records and hospital documents. Must provide safe medical administration using the patient¿s six (6) rights, provide maintenance and management of IV access, must be able to perform POC monitoring, demonstrate safe infection control practices and CRRT for the adult ICU patient. Texas Health Action is seeking a Community Engagement Specialist (Part-Time) to develop and deliver culturally competent sexual health promotion and STI/HIV prevention information to communities across the state of Texas with an emphasis on underserved LGBTQIA+ communities. The Community Engagement Specialist will work closely with our Outreach & Testing team and reports to the Director of Community Engagement. This is a part-time, non-exempt role and some weekends may be required.
