Job Description Accounts Receivable / Billing Specialist – Construction Newark, New Jersey We are seeking an Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist with construction industry experience to join a growing finance team for a major construction contractor in Jersery. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in handling AIA billing, lien waivers, and COI-related insurance documentation. Responsibilities * Prepare and process AIA billing applications (G702/G703) * Manage Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations * Handle lien waivers, COIs, and insurance compliance documentation * Support month-end close processes and assist project teams with billing matters * Maintain accurate records in accordance with company and industry standards Qualifications * 3+ years of accounts receivable/billing experience in the construction industry * Proficiency with AIA billing processes and lien waiver requirements * Experience with COI/insurance documentation * Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills * Familiarity with construction accounting software a plus (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, Procore, QuickBooks) Compensation & Benefits * Salary: $65,000 * Full health benefits package * 401(k) retirement plan * Opportunity to work with a well-established construction contractor Company DescriptionKintec Search is a provider of talent to the construction, engineering and renewable energy industries throughout the United States.
