This travel nursing job offers competitive pay, hands-on clinical experience, and the chance to work in a vibrant New Jersey healthcare community near New York City.\n \n\nLabor & Delivery RN Job Details\n\n • Assignment Type: Travel Nursing\n, • Location: Montclair, New Jersey (Zip: 07042) – New Jersey nursing jobs\n, • Unit: Labor & Delivery\n, • Start Date: October 20, 2025\n, • End Date: January 19, 2026\n, • Duration: 13-week contract\n, • Shifts: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts/week (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)\n, • Hours per Week: 36\n, • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,990 – $2,130\n, • Charting System: EPIC\n, • Academic hospital experience preferred\n, • Facility births/month: 200-300\n, • First-time travel nurses with multi-facility Labor & Delivery experience are welcome!\n\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n\n, • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience\n, • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – New Jersey or compact state\n, • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate\n, • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records\n, • Multi-facility Labor & Delivery experience preferred\n, • Academic hospital experience preferred\n, • Must be a traveler from outside a 50-mile radius\n\n\nLabor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities\n\n, • Deliver expert nursing care for laboring patients, including high-risk antepartum cases\n, • Triage obstetrical patients and perform sterile vaginal exams\n, • Assist with high-risk and vaginal deliveries\n, • Circulate for C-sections\n, • Utilize and calibrate intrauterine pressure catheters (IUPC)\n, • Maintain central lines (CVC/PICC)\n, • Administer anticoagulants, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy\n, • Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols\n Planet Healthcare Job ID #414314.
