Role Overview Job Title: Community Manager (Studio Manager) (We call this role the Community Manager because we are so focused on our communities of students and teachers. But this is a General Manager role.) Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Studio Owners Location: On-site at the Studio (Millburn / Short Hills, NJ) Compensation: 47,000 – 53,000 ,based on experience(Additional sales incentives are available) As our Community Manager, you are the central figure and heartbeat of the center. You will be the on-site leader responsible for creating an exceptional and welcoming experience for every student, parent, and teacher who walks through our doors. Your role directly shapes our growth, student satisfaction, and the vibrant, creative community that defines us. This role is more than management; it’s about building relationships, fostering a love for learning and music, and ensuring our studio is a place where everyone can thrive. You will be instrumental in implementing daily operations, driving enrollment and sales performance, and making a real difference in people’s lives through education and music. Your Impact on Our Community Studio and Community Experience (40%) • Serve as the warm, welcoming face of Musicologie and Early Edge Education, especially during after-school hours., • Ensure every student, parent, and teacher feels supported and valued., • Act as the primary point of communication for scheduling, policies, and events across both programs., • Manage all new student inquiries for both Musicologie and S.A.M. Singapore Math through phone, text, and email with prompt, friendly, and professional communication., • Lead inbound and outbound sales and lead-calling efforts to convert inquiries into enrollments., • Guide new families from their first contact through enrollment, helping them find the right program, schedule, and teacher fit., • Use Musicologie’s and Early Edge’s marketing systems to promote programs, manage leads, and grow enrollment., • Collaborate with ownership to develop and implement local marketing campaigns, community outreach, and partnerships that build awareness and drive growth., • Lead the hiring, onboarding, and coaching of our talented music and academic instructors using both Musicologie and Early Edge Education’s proven systems., • Foster a supportive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture., • Oversee daily studio operations to keep both Musicologie and Early Edge spaces running efficiently and looking their best., • Manage supplies, materials, and merchandise ordering., • Handle student payments, attendance, and data accuracy in our systems. No two days are quite the same. You might start by reviewing inquiries for S.A.M. Math and Musicologie lessons, then follow up on new leads and schedule trial classes. By afternoon, you’ll greet families arriving for piano, guitar, or math sessions, guide new parents through enrollment, coach an instructor on communication best practices, and finalize details for an upcoming concert or open house. You’ll juggle multiple priorities with warmth, professionalism, and a focus on both customer care and community growth, balancing engagement, operations, and leadership in a creative, high-energy environment.
