The Lead Detailer will also utilize U.S. Engineering’s company standards, adhering to current building codes, meet project requirements and coordinate with all trades on a given project. Principal Duties and Accountabilities: • Work closely with Virtual Construction Project Manager and Regional Manager of Virtual Construction., • Together with the Regional Manager of VC will have responsibility of members of the project detailing team including determining staff level and performance management., • Within the scope of the project, model and/or run a crew of detailers to build and coordinate 3d, intelligent models of that project and then create the deliverable documents required within the scope of the project(s)., • Must use knowledge of Revit software and building trades and codes to model, coordinate and produce shop and fabrication deliverables, • Oversee and Coordinate models with all in-house trades, as well as out of house project teams., • Perform routine to complex assignments requiring a thorough knowledge of computer aided drafting system standards, practices and techniques., • Analyze submittals, sketches, notes and other input material to determine best approach to complete drawings., • Apply judgement and make decisions that protect US Engineering with respect to drawings and input interpretation., • With input from supervisor and other team-members review work performed by the detailing team to determine accuracy. (e.g. field superintendents and shop foremen), • Continue to develop increased proficiency in system operation with a resulting increase in productivity and learn how to use all software options. Job Description The Senior Building Controls Technician will provide services related to the expansion, upgrade or replacement of building automation hardware and software for smart building infrastructure. The position will work independently to meet project requirements with limited supervision. The programmer will be responsible for programming, configuring, and testing of Direct Digital Control (DDC) building automation and control systems. The senior control technician will be assigned to the Leesburg headquarters building but the primary work responsibility will involve working within buildings in Washington D.C. and its neighboring suburbs.
