Job Description Job Summary The EIC Technician is a key member of the Maintenance and Production teams, responsible for maintaining all electrically controlled devices on the plant floor. This role ensures equipment operates safely and efficiently, performs preventative maintenance (PM) work orders, troubleshoots issues, and supports project work. The EIC Technician collaborates across departments, participates in team building, and adheres to all plant procedures, policies, and safety standards. Job Responsibilities • Maintain electrical equipment in safe and operational condition, • Troubleshoot and resolve control systems issues, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and network communications, • Execute PM work orders and create work orders for issues identified during inspections, • Provide support for Controls Engineering functions and capital/internal projects, • Document work performed, system logs, and process improvements, • Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and system development, • Educate operators on proper equipment use, • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics, • Maintain and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and other PLC systems, • Support Profibus, ControlNet, and Ethernet communication systems, • Operate specialized and standard test equipment for diagnostics and analysis, • Replace defective components and perform repairs using hand and power tools, • Collaborate with team members to prioritize work and minimize downtime, • Participate in safety programs and ensure compliance with all regulations, • Utilize SAP PM to manage work orders and schedule tasks Required Skills, • Experience with PLCs and HMIs strongly preferred, • Advanced understanding of control systems, relays, sensors, fuses, breakers, and computer networks, • Proficient with hand, power, and specialized tools, • Basic mechanical knowledge, • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, • Computer proficiency and willingness to use tablets, • Experience with batch, continuous, and discrete manufacturing, • Experience on packaging lines We have witnessed multi-fold YOY growth, and continuously adding a large pool of talented resources to our employee base every year.
