About You Summary The Member Marketing Coordinator serves as the primary marketing liaison for assigned Member groups across multiple banners. This role ensures that each banner’s marketing, circular, and creative needs are executed with excellence—from weekly circular workflows to custom creative campaigns, in‑store and digital initiatives, and ad‑hoc marketing requests. Acting similarly to an account executive, the Coordinator partners directly with Members, Creative, Merchandising, Advertising, and cross‑functional marketing teams to deliver accurate, on‑brand, high‑impact marketing assets that support traffic, sales, and brand consistency. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple concurrent initiatives across several banners and stakeholder groups. Core Functions Banner & Member Support • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Member groups, managing day‑to‑day requests and ensuring all marketing deliverables meet banner standards., • Support all banners represented within the Brand Experience organization, including ShopRite, Fairway, The Fresh Grocer, Dearborn, DiBruno, Morton Williams, and Gourmet Garage., • Partner with Members to understand business priorities, seasonal needs, merchandising focus areas, and local market nuances. Circular Production & Management • Coordinate weekly and specialty circular production across multiple banners, collaborating closely with Creative, Advertising, and Merchandising teams., • Intake item changes, corrections, and layout adjustments, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery, • Review proofs, ensure brand and pricing accuracy, and manage approvals with Member contacts. Creative Campaign Execution • Partner with Creative Supervisors and Creative Specialists to brief, route, and deliver multi‑channel creative campaigns, including print, digital, social, and in‑store assets., • Manage timelines, gather requirements, ensure brand alignment, and serve as the day‑to‑day contact for Member‑requested creative projects., • Support larger cross‑banner brand campaigns under the Brand Experience team, which houses Member Marketing Coordinators. Project & Workflow Coordination • Own project tracking, timelines, and task flow—similar to an account executive—ensuring all Member deliverables are completed on time., • Maintain coordinated communication across internal teams (Creative, Advertising, Merchandising, Sales Planning, Vendor Marketing, Digital Experience). Quality Assurance & Accuracy • Proofread all Member deliverables, ensuring accuracy of items, images, pricing, brand voice, and offer details., • Validate that creative and circular outputs reflect the correct banner identity and merchandising requirements. Relationship Building & Service • Build trusted, professional relationships with Member contacts, acting as a strategic partner—not just task support., • Provide proactive guidance on marketing opportunities, campaign optimization, and creative solutions. Cross‑Functional Partnership • Collaborate with Merchandising, Sales Planning, Vendor Marketing, and Digital teams to align Member initiatives with corporate priorities., • Support integration of digital tactics, social content, and email/CRM when appropriate—aligned with cross‑functional teams listed in the Marketing Org Knowledge and Skill Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field preferred., • 3-5 years’ experience in marketing coordination, account management, or advertising (retail preferred)., • Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives., • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with both internal teams and external Members., • Strong proofreading abilities and high attention to detail, • Familiarity with creative production workflows (print, digital, social)., • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment across many stakeholders and banners. Physical Demands and Work Environment • Availability to work a varied, flexible schedule to meet business demands, • Ability to sit/stand in front of a computer for long periods of time, • Ability to adhere to the company’s four day a week in office work requirement, • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, • Ability to travel as required Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 annually. Placement in the salary depends on several factors, including experience, skills, education, geography, and budget considerations.
