Job DescriptionDescription: Falcon Manufacturing, a division of NOA Brands America, Inc., is a custom fabrication facility for sheet metal, tubing, and wire components. Falcon provides economical manufacturing to large volume clients through our highly trained staff, advanced manufacturing technology, on-time delivery, and competitive pricing. Falcon is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our Senior Estimators and Project Managers by assisting in the preparation of accurate cost estimates for a wide range of metal fabrication projects. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with early experience in manufacturing, construction, or project estimation who are eager to develop their skills and grow their careers in collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will gain hands-on experience with real-world projects and learn directly from industry professionals while contributing to success to our clients and operations. General Responsibilities: • Assist in preparing basic cost estimates for metal fabrication projects by evaluating specifications, blueprints, and project documentation., • Support the collection of pricing data from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate material and service costs, • Work under the guidance of senior estimators and project managers to ensure estimates are complete, consistent, and aligned with project scopes, • Maintain and update internal cost databases and spreadsheets used for estimating and quoting., • Help prepare bid packages, proposals, and supporting documentation for client submission, • Perform general administrative tasks in support of the estimating and project management teams, • Participate in internal meetings to understand production capabilities and constraints, • Associate's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related technical field; or equivalent education and hands-on experience., • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment., • Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in metal fabrication processes., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel., • Solid mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail., • Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings., • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities., • A positive, proactive team player with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn; capable of working independently and collaboratively to achieve goals., • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs., • Willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet deadlines., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across departments and with external partners, • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving, and deadline-driven environment., • Prior experience in project estimating, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication setting, is a plus.
