Color and Quality Manager About the Role We are seeking an experienced Color and Quality Manager to lead quality assurance, color consistency, product testing, and compliance initiatives across multiple product categories. This role plays a critical part in ensuring products meet brand standards, retailer requirements, and regulatory expectations from development through production. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, suppliers, factories, and third-party testing partners to maintain exceptional quality performance while driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities • Manage quality assurance functions for private label and national brand programs, supporting key retail partners such as Walmart, Target, SKIMS, QVC, and others., • Oversee product quality testing and compliance related to color accuracy, performance, regulatory standards, and product safety., • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement compliant materials and styles through Critical Manufacturing Meetings (CMM)., • Communicate findings, risks, and corrective actions to factories and internal teams., • Develop, maintain, and improve QA standards, procedures, and testing protocols for color and materials., • Collaborate with QA, design, and production teams to identify, escalate, and resolve quality or color-related issues during product development and bulk production., • Work closely with third-party laboratories and internal testing teams to review performance testing and product claims results., • Monitor supplier quality performance and drive corrective action plans where needed., • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product consistency, efficiency, and compliance. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Textiles, Quality Management, Production, or related field., • 7–10 years of experience in apparel quality assurance, color management, or product compliance., • Strong understanding of color evaluation methods and performance testing standards., • Experience with restricted substances programs, labeling requirements, and regulatory compliance., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and quality tracking systems., • Excellent communication and project coordination skills with internal teams and global suppliers., • Experience supporting major retail accounts such as Walmart, Target, Costco, or other private label programs preferred., • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines., • Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset. Additional Information • Some travel required (approximately one trip per quarter)., • Frequent communication with overseas offices, suppliers, third-party partners, and cross-functional teams., • Reports directly to the VP of Quality Assurance and Product Testing.
