Job Description Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our clinical team. This role focuses on providing vital clinical support, ensuring efficient patient flow, and delivering high-quality patient care. With a preference for candidates with three years of consistent experience, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic cardiology environment. Responsibilities • Ensure efficient patient flow and prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient examinations., • Conduct initial intake of patients by interviewing them and their families to obtain the chief complaint, vital signs, and allergy information., • Perform and record daily Quality Controls (QC) for all Point of Care (POC) testing and obtain specimens., • Under provider or RN direction, track and retrieve patient lab/diagnostic testing results for timely review and follow-up., • Assist in the administrative functions of the patient prescription renewal process., • Provide cross-coverage for other clinical roles as needed., • Support departmental medical record audits and maintain appropriate inventories of medical supplies., • Clean and stock patient care rooms between patients and maintain all patient-related forms and educational materials., • Medical Assisting, • Cardiology, • Appointment Scheduling, • Medical Terminology, • Insurance Verification, • Front Desk Management, • Medical Assistant Diploma, • Experience in Patient Care, Phlebotomy, and Customer Service, • Knowledge of Internal Medicine, Epic Systems, and Administrative Support, • Ability to travel to satellite locations may be required Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
