ABOUT THE MOBILE RESPONSE & STABILIZATION SERVICES PROGRAM: • Catholic Charities' Mobile Response program, based in Jersey City, New Jersey, provides families with counseling, guidance, and referral services to address juvenile crises and to help in stabilizing and preserving the family unit. Job DescriptionJob Summary: Electromechanic We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electromechanic to join our production facility. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems on food processing equipment to ensure optimal performance. Key Responsibilities: • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processing machinery, packaging equipment, conveyors, and automated systems., • Diagnose and repair electrical issues including motors, sensors, PLCs, and control panels., • Troubleshoot mechanical problems involving gearboxes, belts, bearings, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems., • Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability., • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation., • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades., • Respond to emergency breakdowns and support production during critical operations.Qualifications:, • High school diploma, • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and automation controls., • Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards., • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints., • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
