Job DescriptionJob Title: General Production Worker Job Description Join our team as a General Production Worker where you will play a crucial role in a tire retread shop. You will assist with various production operations, measuring and cutting tire treads, and operating machinery to adhere tread to wheels. Your role will also involve using hoists to maneuver semi-truck tires onto hooks attached to a pulley and conveyor system, transporting tires into heating chambers, and baking them to break down and finish using pneumatic buffing tools. Responsibilities • Measure and cut tire tread to the required length., • Operate machinery to adhere tread to wheels., • Use hoists to lift and maneuver tires onto hooks and conveyor systems., • Operate conveyor systems to transport tires into heating chambers., • Bake tires in ovens for 4 hours and unload them using conveyor and pulley systems., • Assist with production tasks in other departments as needed., • Use pneumatic buffing tools to finish tires.Essential Skills, • General labor experience., • Production and manufacturing skills., • Warehouse experience., • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as standing, pushing, pulling, bending, and stooping.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Willingness to work overtime, including 10-hour shifts and Saturdays., • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.Why Work Here?
