The role involves a 40-hour workweek, primarily based at two schools with a split schedule: Fowler Middle School four days per week and Mary Woodward Elementary one day per week. Work hours are either 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Key responsibilities include conducting evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services, developing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), participating in threat assessment and manifestation determination meetings, and collaborating on Tier II and Tier III interventions for both behavioral and academic concerns. The role requires a TSPC license for Oregon School Psychology, ensuring compliance with state credentialing standards. Familiarity with the Response to Intervention (RTI) model for Specific Learning Disability (SLD) identification is highly desirable, supporting a data-driven approach to student assessments.
